This policy explains how deals are chosen and checked on KAI Deals USA, and what we will never do with pricing information. It exists because trust matters more to us than the number of deals we publish.
We publish deals only from established U.S. retailers and brands with an official web store. Marketplace listings from third-party sellers are excluded, because they frequently carry inflated reference prices. An unfamiliar store is not added just because an automated tool found a large discount there.
The retailer's live product page is the source of truth for the current price, product identity, availability and promotion conditions. Third-party deal sources, feeds, social posts and AI research may tell us where to look, but they are never the final source for a price. A deal that cannot be verified on the retailer's page is not published.
A crossed-out price appears only when the retailer itself lists a reference price. Savings and percentage are computed by code from the verified current and reference prices. We do not display a discount when the reference price is missing, and we do not turn an uncertain reference price into a stronger claim.
A coupon-adjusted price is shown only when the coupon has been confirmed to apply to that specific item, and its conditions are stated. Otherwise we show the listed price only.
We do not test products and do not publish our own product ratings. When a star rating or review count is shown, it is the retailer's customer rating at the time we checked, and it is labeled as such.
We do not generate countdown timers, stock counters or urgency messages. Availability statements appear only when the retailer's page shows them, phrased the way the retailer phrases them.
Deals expire automatically after a set period or on a known promotion end date. When a recheck shows a higher price or an unavailable item, the deal is removed or marked as ended. Old sale prices are never left looking current.
When we identify incorrect deal data, we correct it or remove the deal promptly and update the check date. Anyone can report an incorrect price or expired deal.
KAI Deals USA earns commissions through affiliate links. Affiliate relationships can influence which retailers we monitor and which verified deals we choose to feature. They never change the price data we publish: a price is verified the same way whether or not a commission is involved, and we do not publish an unverified deal because it pays a commission. See the Affiliate disclosure.
